Exercising His Options
(Nov. 2001) Ran into the Fast and the Furious' Matt Schulze at my
gym this week. Actually, I ran into him at the gym in the building where
I toil for you every week, movie fans. I don't really have a gym, but
that sounded more L.A. Anyhow, the tattooed hardbody heads to Paris soon
to begin filming The Transporter for oddball director Luc Besson (The
Fifth Element) with costar Jason Statham (Snatch). He lost 30 pounds to
play a clean-cut baddie who...well, I have to keep the rest of the plot
a secret.
