Seagal and Schulze are Out of Reach
Source: The Hollywood Reporter Sunday, August 10, 2003

Steven Seagal and Matt Schulze will star in Franchise Films' Out of Reach, with Po-Chih Leong directing.

Written by Trevor Miller, the film centers on Billy-Ray Lancing (Seagal), a government agent-turned-survivalist from Northern Alaska who works on a wildlife refuge and sponsors a young girl named Irina in the international foster program run by Faisal (Schulze). Lancing uncovers that the foster program is really a human trafficking operation, disguised as Irina's orphanage, financed by honest and good-intentioned Samaritans.

Production on the film has begun in Poland.

In "The Rescue," Seagal will play a former Vietnam vet who begins exchanging letters with an orphan in Eastern Europe that he's helping out financially. When the letters cease, he heads to Europe to find out what happened to the child.
Still not sure how Matt plays into this, but I'm sure we'll find out! (Thanks to Steven-Seagal.net!)

Seagal fans anyone?
Yes, you heard right. :) Matt emailed us last night to let us know he is taking off for Poland to start filming with Steven Seagal. All he's told us about the movie is he is playing another bad guy and it's called Out of Reach.

If ANYone finds out ANYthing about this movie, we would love to hear from you!
